Single Day Events:

February 3: Adults can wander Georgia Aquarium enjoying live music, cocktails, and appetizers at Sips Under the Sea. Visit the website to buy tickets and see the theme.

February 4: Sample 150 beers, hear live music, and play games at Atlanta Winter Beer Fest at Atlantic Station.

February 4: Enjoy beautiful art, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and fine wine from Napa Valley at the Paint the Town charity event and auction at Vinings Gallery on Canton Street in Roswell.

February 5: Bach Bowl is a performance of solo and chamber music by Johann Sebastian Bach on Super Bowl Sunday in the Schwartz Center at Emory University. Free

February 8: Set in 1692 during the Salem witch trials, The Crucible is a scorching indictment of intolerance written by Arthur Miller during the communist witch hunts of the 1950s, at Actor’s Express.

February 10: Pancakes & Booze Art Show is a traveling exhibition of 75 artists, with pancakes, live music, body painting, and multimedia displays at GA Freight Depot for age 21+. Pay $5 cash at the door or buy a VIP pass online.

February 11: Havana-based Malpaso Dance Company skillfully blends unfussy ballet, their native Afro-Cuban tradition, and intensely physical modern dance in a performance at Rialto Center for the Arts.

February 11: The Adventures of Mighty Bug is a comic-book-style adventure that combines shadow and body puppets with digital and overhead projections, and teaches a bit of science at Center for Puppetry Arts for age 4+. Crafts afterwards.

February 11: Vixen’s Valentease Vaudeville and Variety Show is a Syrens of the South Production at the 7 Stages.

February 11: Let romance bloom with an elegant evening of cocktails, dancing, dessert, and live entertainment at Valentines in the Garden at Atlanta Botanical Garden.

February 11: Big Band Night in the Schwartz Center at Emory University is free and does not require a ticket.

February 11: Cupid’s Undie Run includes a half-naked run through the streets and a party at Big Sky for charity.

February 14: Professional magician Peter Morrison performs classical magic and comedy at a Valentine’s Day show at the Atlanta Magic Theater.

February 14: One Billion Rising Revolution includes a flash-mob dance to protest violence against women in Decatur.

February 14: Tenor Andrea Bocelli sings songs from his latest album plus arias, love songs, and crossover hits on Valentine’s Day at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth.

February 17: Dante’s Labyrinth is a winter masquerade costume party for fairies, gnomes, trolls, maidens, and devils age 18+ at The Masquerade.

February 18: Atlanta Mardi Gras Ball is a dance party with Carl Thomas, DJ music, a brass band, an optional cajun food tasting, and a bar in a large heated tent at Turner Field. You are allowed to bring food.

February 20: Entry is free at Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area during Free Entrance Days in the National Parks.

February 24: Watch racers compete at Arenacross on a four-lane track of Georgia red clay in the Georgia Dome

February 24: A ticket to Winter Blues gets you live blues music, tastes from the barbecue contest, and beer at Monday Night Brewing to support charity.

February 25: Mardi Gras Streetcar Adventure is a tour of 11 bars and restaurants on the streetcar route, including a travel pass, complimentary drinks, and food specials.

February 25: Black History Month Parade features marching bands, entertainers, and dignitaries. It begins at the King Center park and ends with a ceremony in Woodruff Park. Free.

February 25: Watch off-road motorcycles race on dirt tracks with steep jumps, tight corners, and obstacles at AMA Supercross in the Georgia Dome.

February 25: Sample Belgian beers with small plates from Atlanta restaurants at Nuit Belge at The Foundry at Puritan Mill for age 21+.

February 25: Watch pledges run into the frigid lake for charity at the Polar Plunge at Acworth Beach. It begins with live music, food, and fire pits at 11 a.m.

February 25: Taste of Dunwoody at the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North. Benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

February 26: Packed with film, dance, and music, Taj Express: The Bollywood Musical Revue is a high-energy celebration of the pop music, Bollywood cinema, and traditional dress of India at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.

February 28: Mardi Gras Pub Crawl turns Avalon Boulevard in Alpharetta into a suburban version of Bourbon Street with live music and New-Orleans-style food and drink for sale. Free.

Multiple Day Events:

February 1-12: The upbeat romantic comedy Troubadour is about a young singer and his band finding their way in 1950s Nashville at Alliance Theatre.

February 1-15: The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival shows films from around the world that explore themes of Jewish life, culture, and history. Vote for your favorites and see guest filmmakers, actors, authors, and academics. Films that sell out may be repeated on the last day.

February 1-19: Set during a weekend in an English country manor in 1932, Death by Design answers the question of what would happen if Noel Coward were to pen an Agatha Christie murder mystery. At Stage Door Players in Dunwoody.

February 1-28: The Packaged Good:A wonderful weekday and weekend activity, a $5 per bag donation allows your family to create unlimited care packages ($5 admission per bag) Hours on Saturdays and Sundays are12 PM- 3 PM and Tuesdays 9 AM-2 PM.

February 1-28: Dunwoody’s Irish Music Session at O’Brian’s Tavern. Wednesdays 8-10PM Free

February 1-28: Every Monday at d’Vine Wine Bar & Shop in Dunwoody, Treat yourself to a unique Wine tasting. Taste all the open wines until the bottles are empty. All the Whites, Rose, and Reds. At least 30 wines, usually over 40. Starts after 5 pm. $18 per person.

February 2-5: Game-o-Rama features board-game tournaments, panels on game design and player strategy, and a flea market of games at Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center.

February 3-5: Netflix “Stranger Things” Days of the Dead Horror Convention includes films, a monster ball, panels, celebrity signings, contests, and after parties, at Sheraton Atlanta.

February 3-5: Groundhog Day Jugglers Festival features jugglers, juggling lessons, competitions, unicyclists, hoopers, kendama, live music, and family fun at Yaarab Shrine Center. Free except Sat. night cabaret.

February 3-26: Register for the $45 Heart Paperweight Class to learn about glass blowing safety and then make a heart-shaped glass paperweight with instructor guidance at Decatur Glassblowing for age 10+ with a parent.

February 9-11: Shop from dozens of dealers of period furniture, jewelry, art, and accessories at Cathedral Antiques Show at the Cathedral of Saint Philip. The tour of homes is Feb. 12, 2017.

February 9-26: The city of Atlanta leads an African-American History Tour of important graves at Oakland Cemetery. Free registration on their website.

February 10-12: Seishun Con celebrates Japanese animation, manga, and culture with celebrity guests, panels, vendors, and workshops at Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center.

February 10-12: More than 150 companies display the latest home improvement products and services at the North Atlanta Home Show at Infinite Energy Center in Duluth. Repeats in Oct.

February 10-26: Million Dollar Quartet recreates the night Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins played together at Sun Records, with 21 rock hits performed live at Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta.

February 11-12: The one-hour Love Stories of Oakland tour recounts the loves, lives, and losses of former Atlantans at Oakland Cemetery.

February 11 & 14: Dad’s Garage offers adult humor about the ups and downs of love based on audience suggestions at 569 Ezzard Street. Feb. 11 (10:30 p.m.) & Feb. 14 (8 p.m.)

February 17-26: The One and Only Ivan is about a gorilla and a scrappy dog who set out to save a baby elephant. Based on a children’s book- at Synchronicity Theatre.

February 23-25: Watch cowboys and cowgirls compete in riding, roping, racing, steer wrestling, and bull fighting at Georgia National Rodeo in Perry.

February 24-25: A high-energy show by Bale Folclorico da Bahia mixes African dance, capoeira (martial arts), samba, and elements of Brazil’s famed carnival at Rialto Center for the Arts. Discount Friday tickets $26.

February 24-25: The highlight of the Georgia Boy Choir Festival is a Grand Finale Concert at United Methodist Church on Peachtree Road.

February 24-26: AnachroCon is about Steampunk, science, history, music, classic sci-fi literature, and amazing costumes at Atlanta Marriott Century Center.

February 25-26: Oysterfest has live music with oysters and beverages for sale at Steamhouse Lounge for age 21+.
