Favorite Neighborhood Burger Joints

There’s no shortage of great food around Atlanta! If you’re in the mood for a burger, beef or turkey, here is list of our favorite neighborhood burger joints:

Dunwoody: Village Burger
This is a local neighborhood hidden gem. The first time you order a turkey burger you will swear they’ve given you beef. It is beyond good – the best turkey burger around. The portions for burgers and fries are generous and did I mention yummy?

Alpharetta: BurgerFI
One of 5 metro locations, BurgerFi boasts it’s gourmet kitchen roots which are far from fast food. How about a “Breakfast All Day” burger? This one is complete with American cheese, bacon, maple syrup, fried egg, hash brown, grilled onions and ketchup. Instead of ice cream, have some frozen custard for desert.

Brookhaven: Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub
This Irish Pub is as far from a burger joint as you can get and yet they have an amazing burger on the menu. Stacking in at about 8 inches tall, the Fork and Knife burger is a grass fed beef patty piled high with everything on the restaurants toppings list including string fried onions and a fried egg. Served with cut Irish potatoes which would make our list of favorite fries in Atlanta any day!

Buckhead: Flip Burger Boutique
This one has been a staple in Bulkhead for several years now so if you haven’t tried it, you should! Started by Top Chef winner and acclaimed chef, Richard Blais. These burgers won’t win on size but they will win you over on taste and culinary flare. If you go to Flip Burger, you must wash your burger down with a Kripy Kreme (you can add donut vodka!) or Cap’n Crunch milkshake. Beware! They are highly addictive.

Little Five Points: The Vortex
As if the wall full of “Best Burger in Atlanta” awards weren’t enough, they make our list too! You’ll see many outrageous things at The Vortex including the burger menu. If you want lots of options for unique flavor combinations you won’t see anywhere else, this is your place. How about a Yokohama Mama burger with teriyaki glaze and grilled pineapple? Or a Fat Elvis with smooth peanut butter (that’s right), bacon and fried bananas? I can’t help falling in love with that!
